The end of October saw the inaugural collaboration with the Equine Rebalance Centre in Hampshire where performance consultations were performed on a variety of horses and ponies. Here, Dr Marvin Firth MRCVS FEI PT veterinarian worked with owners to address concerns relating to their animal’s performance in dressage, showjumping and eventing. Reviewing medical histories, static and dynamic assessments with recommendations for further investigation and treatment as well as chiropractic, acupuncture and class IV laser were all offered. We had some really interesting cases and interaction with Scott Dunn Equine Veterinary Surgeons and reports from clients have been excellent following the consultations. Dr Firth comments, ‘I feel really lucky to be working here at the Equine Rebalance Therapy centre where we have access to the water treadmill (will incline) and cold water spa. This opens up options in the rehabilitation and performance development of the horses I will be examining. Having additional therapies such as Bowen (delivered by Rachael Corry) also will complement what I can offer those equines through the regular clinics. I am excited to see what we can achieve!’

The next clinic is on 20th November 2018 and already appears to be fully booked. The clinics will be approx every 4 weeks and can be booked via the online booking form at County Equine Individual consultations and yard visits in the Hampshire area will also be available.
